Eligibility Criteria for GNM (3-Year Course)

Age Requirement

  • The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2025.

Minimum Qualifications (As per INC Regulation)

  1. Candidates must have passed UPGET.

  2. 10+2 with English and at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination (with English passed individually) from any recognized board.

    • Candidates from State Open Schools (recognized by the State Government) and NIOS (recognized by the Central Government) are also eligible.

    • Preference will be given to candidates from the Science stream.

    • For percentage calculation, marks of three core elective subjects will be considered, excluding English. However, English must be passed.

  3. 10+2 with English and 40% marks in a vocational ANM course recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

  4. 10+2 with English and 40% marks in a vocational healthcare science course from a recognized CBSE/State/Central board.

  5. Registered ANM candidates with passing marks are also eligible.

  6. SC/ST candidates are eligible with a relaxation of 5% in total marks.

Medical Fitness

  • Candidates must be medically fit.

  • Candidates with loco-motor disability (40%–50% in the lower extremity) may also be eligible, provided they fulfill the academic criteria as per their category.
