Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc. Nursing (4-Year Course)
Age Requirement
The minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2025.
Minimum Qualifications (As per INC Regulation)
Candidates must have passed the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET).
Must have completed 10+2 (Science stream) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and obtained at least 45% aggregate marks, along with passing English individually from a recognized board.
For SC/ST/OBC candidates, the required aggregate in PCB subjects is 40% instead of 45% (for General Category).
English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for admission eligibility.
Candidates from State Open Schools (recognized by the State Government) and NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling, recognized by the Central Government) with Science subjects and English are also eligible.
Colour blind candidates are eligible, provided they use colour corrective contact lenses or spectacles.
Admission is subject to medical fitness. No candidate will be allowed to join unless declared fit by the Medical Board constituted by the Government Medical College or District CMO.
Married candidates are also eligible for admission.
